Galatasaray HDI Insurance Men's Volleyball Team, representing Turkey in the CEV Cup, hosted Hungarian side Fino Kaposvar in the second leg of the Round of 32. The Lions of the volleyball net secured their place in the Round of 16 by winning the match with a decisive 3-0 score.
The hosts, who played at the TVF Burhan Felek Vestel Hall, started with the following lineup: Arslan, Atanasov, Oguzhan, Patry, Onur, and Ahmet. Galatasaray HDI Sigorta won the match in straight sets (25-19, 25-14, and 25-17). After winning the first match in KAPOSVAR Arena with a score of 3-2, the Turkish team also took the return leg 3-0, thus securing their place in the Round of 16.
In the match, Jean Patry was the top scorer with 17 points, while Onur Günaydin scored 9, and Martin Atanasov and Ahmet Tümer each added 8 points.
Galatasaray HDI Insurance will face Ziraat Bankkart in the Round of 16 of the CEV Cup.
