Turkey crushed Canada and finished the group undefeated

In Quezon City, Philippines, the Turkish national volleyball team continued its impressive performance at the 2025 World Championship. "Efeler" defeated Canada 3-0 in a direct clash between the two previously undefeated teams and finished Group G as a convincing leader.

The Turks demonstrated superiority in all elements - effective attack, strong serve, and stable block play.

First historic success for Turkey

For the first time in its World Championship history, Turkey finishes the group stage undefeated - three wins from three matches and only one lost set. Thus, the team qualified for the round of 16, where they will meet the second-placed team from Group B.
