The "Levski Sofia" team continues undefeated since the start of the championship. The "Blues" prevailed as guests over "Deya Sport" with a 3:0 (25:21, 25:17, 25:22) victory in the fifth round of Efbet Super Volley 2024/2025. Thus, Niki Zhelyazkov's boys are firmly at the top of the provisional standings without losing a set. There was some intrigue only in the first and third parts, as the hosts from Burgas played without the suspended Georgi Bratoev and Teodor Todorov. The two received red cards during their away game in Varna against Cherno More.
The match started better for the hosts, who took the lead early, with the difference reaching 6 points (10:4). Gradually, the guests started to press, and after two aces by Skrimov, the score became 14:14. After a successful block by Gotsev and a service error by his teammate Niki Nikolov, Levski's volleyball players took the lead. Thanks to Cardoso's strong play, the Burgas team managed to equalize (19:19), but Firkal and Skrimov brought the "Blues" ahead. Deya's strength was only enough for two more points, and after a service error by Valentin Bratoev, the guests took the first set.
In the second set, the guests pulled ahead right from the start and, after building a comfortable lead, maintained concentration and closed the set in less than half an hour. Gaining momentum, the "Blues" entered the third set with maximum concentration, signaling a similar end to this set, after registering scores of 14:21 and 16:23. After a service error by Skrimov, two points by Cardoso followed for 19:23.
The guests called a timeout, earning their first match point after a service error by Tomov. It took "Levski" four attempts to close the set and the match, as before that, Deya's foreign duo Cardoso-Lamanec managed to narrow the gap to 22:24. Veni Antov put an end to the dispute, finishing with the most points - 19 (1 ace and 2 blocks), recording an impressive 84% in attack.
His runner-up was Todor Skrimov, who scored 18 points, including 5 aces. The duo Cardoso-Lamanec contributed 17 and 15 points, respectively. However, the MVP of the match was Stoil Palev, who finished with 2 points (1 block) and performed excellently at the net.
The other Burgas team, Neftochimic, also left with three points from their away game against Pirin in Razlog - 3:0 (25:22, 25:17, 25:21). Interestingly, in this match too, the guests conceded the same number of points in the sets as Levski in Burgas - 50 each. And here, the victory came after difficult first and third sets and a decisive second, in which the guests made an impressive comeback - from 7:10 to 17:10. Pirin showed teeth with 6 saved match points - from 15:24, which resembled the situation in the third set of the match in Burgas between Deya and Levski! Both matches ended with almost the same duration: 1 hour and 13 minutes in Razlog and 1 hour and 16 minutes in Burgas. The similarities between the two matches continue with the choice of MVP - here too, this honor was given to a setter - Dobromir Dimitrov.

Neftochimic was without the ill Polish diagonal Rafal Faryna, with 21-year-old Stoyan Dimitrov playing in that position from start to finish. Akseh Truhchev and Rozalin Penchev finished with 12 points each, and among the hosts, only Mariyan Nakov, who is a champion with Neftochimic, had a double-digit score - 16 points.
After the two matches played, "Levski Sofia" leads the standings without losing a set, followed by "Neftochimic". After their second loss, Deya dropped to fifth place, and Pirin fell to tenth.
