Perugia created a comeback and grabbed their sixth Italian Super Cup

The champion and winner of the Italian Cup, Sir Susa Vim (Perugia), defended its Super Cup trophy in this year's edition of the tournament. Angelo Lorenzetti's boys made a comeback and narrowly defeated Itas (Trento) with a score of 3:2 (25:18, 19:25, 15:25, 25:17, 15:9) in the tournament final, played at the 'PalaWanny' hall in Florence.

Trento's volleyball players failed to win their 5th such final. The Trentino team has 3 Super Cups in its display cabinet, the last one being from 2021, when Matey Kaziyski was still playing for the team.
