Delegates from 51 national federations, with two more represented by proxy, elected Rok Sikiric as the new president of the European Confederation for the 2024-2028 mandate. The long-awaited CEV Electoral General Assembly took place on Saturday, August 24, at Castel Nuovo in Naples, Italy.

The former player and newly elected CEV president, in the second round, received 36 votes from the members of the European volleyball family, leaving behind the Italian Renato Arena, who received 16 preferences.
Subsequently, he announced the names of those he had chosen to join him as members of the CEV board of directors, all young leaders but with solid experience in volleyball management: Clodagh Nick Canna (Ireland), Ivan Knezevic (Serbia) and Leonel Salgueiro (Portugal). The proposal was ratified by a large majority of the General Assembly.
Six other members of the CEV Board of Administration were elected after the first round of voting specifically for this body. These are, in alphabetical order, Lyubomir Ganev (Bulgaria), who received the most votes, Guy Juwet (Belgium), Emma Labrador (Gibraltar), Marek Pakosta (Czech Republic), Eric Tanguy (France) and Arturs Vitkovskis (Latvia).
