Banca Valsabbina Millenium Brescia officially presented its team for the new season, in which the young Bulgarian national player Kalina Veneva will be among the "lionesses".
The presentation took place in the church of "San Giorgio" in the heart of Brescia, with the entire club structure – from the women's team in Serie A1 to the academy teams – standing before the public. Representatives of the local authorities and volleyball institutions attended the event, and the club's president Roberto Catania and head coach Matteo Solforati addressed those present.

Brescia is set to return to the Italian elite, and the very first round offers an intriguing rematch from last season. On October 4, the "lionesses" will host CDA Volley Talmassons – the other newcomer in Serie A1 and precisely the team that overtook them by just one point last season in the battle for direct promotion.
Thus, Brescia had to seek its place in the elite through the playoffs. In the promotion final, Solforati's team faced Nuvoli Altafrate Padova. After exchanging one victory each in the first two matches, everything was decided in the third match in Montichiari.
Before 3600 spectators, Brescia won the decisive match 3:0 (25:18, 25:22, 25:11) and closed the final series with 2:1 victories, thus securing its return to Serie A1.
Now the new season begins precisely against Talmassons – the team that had left Brescia one step away from direct promotion. The match will also be Kalina Veneva's first opportunity to make her official debut in the Italian elite.

Mikaela Stoyanova's team was also presented.
Almost at the same time, another Serie A1 club with Bulgarian presence officially started its season – CBF Balducci Macerata, where Mikaela Stoyanova will play in the new season.
Macerata chose a quite different setting for the presentation – the ancient Roman theater "Helvia Recina" in Villa Potenza. The first team, staff, and all academy formations from U13 to U19 were presented to the public, and the club also showcased its four kits for the new season.

For CBF Balducci, this will be their third participation in Serie A1 in the club's history and their second consecutive season in the elite. Head coach Valerio Lionetti is also starting his third season at the helm of the team.
Thus, Veneva and Stoyanova have now been officially presented with their teams just days before the start of the new season in Italy's strongest women's club championship.
