The group stage of EuroVolley 2026 has concluded, and all eight pairs, dates, and times for the round of 16 are now known. The eliminations will be split between Sofia and Turin, with the Bulgarian capital hosting four matches on September 19 and 20, and the remaining four to be played in Italy on September 20 and 21.
In Sofia, the program starts on Saturday, and Bulgaria will face Germany at 7:00 PM in "Arena 8888 Sofia".
Bulgaria – Germany on Saturday at 7:00 PM
The first two round of 16 matches in Sofia are on September 19. Poland, who won Group B, meets the fourth-placed team from Group D, Latvia. After that comes Bulgaria's match against Germany.
September 19, Saturday – Sofia

The remaining two round of 16 matches in "Arena 8888 Sofia" will be played the next day.
September 20, Sunday – Sofia

The times indicated by CEV for the matches in Sofia are local time and therefore remain the same for the Bulgarian audience.
The eliminations in Italy move to Turin
After the conclusion of Group A in Modena, the elimination phase in Italy moves toTurin, where the matches will be played in "Palavela".
The first two round of 16 matches there are on September 20. Finland meets Greece, and host Italy faces Denmark.
In the official program, times are indicated in local Italian time.Bulgaria is one hour ahead, so for the Bulgarian audience, the program is:
September 20, Sunday – Turin

The other two round of 16 matches in Turin are a day later – on September 21.

The splitting of the round of 16 matches in Turin into two consecutive days is also related to logistics. Teams from Group A are already in Italy, while participants coming from Group C need to travel from Tampere, Finland. For the same reason, the elimination schedule is spread out over time after the conclusion of Group D in Cluj-Napoca, Romania.
