France is European champion for men under 18

France became European champions for men under 18 in a peremptory manner. "Les Bleus" neutralized the Italian team, defeating them in the final with a score of 3:0 (25-15, 25-20, 25-21). Not for a moment did the team led by Jean-Manuel Le Provost leave any doubt about their superiority. The first set was a real rout for the Italians, who scored only 15 points. "Squadra Azzurra" could not counter France's good defensive play and cleverly executed balls at the net. The Italians' reception was also struggling. The top scorer for the French team was Noa Dufflo-Rossi with 16 points (including 4 blocks), and Andreï Jokannovic added 15 points (including 1 block). The Bulgarian with a French passport, Viden Natsev, did not play in the final. For Italy, the grandson of Dimitar Zlatanov, Manuel, was the top scorer with 13 points, and Nicolò Garello added 7 points.
The match was officiated by Bulgarian referee Simeon Ivanov.
