The Polish Cup winner Bogdanka LUK Lublin will host one of the strongest pre-season volleyball tournaments in Europe. On October 10th and 11th, the "Globus" hall in Lublin will host the fifth edition of the Bogdanka Volley Cup "Tomasz Wójtowicz", which will be a dress rehearsal for the participants before the start of the national championships and European club tournaments.
The hosts, whose squad for the new season will again include the captain of the Bulgarian national team Alex Grozdanov, will compete against three of the strongest clubs on the continent – Turkish Fenerbahçe, Slovenian champion ACH Volley Ljubljana, which is practically the backbone of the national team, and Polish grand PGE Projekt Warsaw. The organizers promise two days of volleyball of the highest European level, as the competition has already established itself as one of the most prestigious pre-season club events in Poland.

For Bogdanka LUK Lublin, the tournament will be an excellent opportunity to check its current condition against extremely strong opponents immediately before the start of the official season. The expectation is that these matches will help the staff to finalize the team's appearance, which will once again pursue a championship title in Poland, after losing in the final of the competition for the trophy, and will fight for a strong performance on the European stage.
The tournament is named after the Olympic champion Tomasz Wójtowicz – one of the greatest legends in the history of Polish volleyball, and its fifth edition this year once again brings together elite European clubs in Lublin.
