The Bulgarian libero was named to the Big 12 Conference's All-Seven team, while her teammate Sydney Nolan was selected as the best offensive player.
U19 World Champion with Bulgaria, Viktoria Ninova, recorded the strongest match of her career so far in the American university championship. The Cincinnati libero achieved a personal record of 34 digs in defense in the dramatic 3:2 (25:16, 19:25, 21:25, 27:25, 15:11) victory over Arizona on October 25.

The Bulgarian's achievement is the best in a single match in the Big 12 conference since the start of the season. At the same time, Cincinnati finished the match with 110 digs in defense - a club record since the introduction of the rally point system and the highest result among all teams in the conference this championship.
The match at Fifth Third Arena offered a serious comeback. The hosts won the first set, but then Arizona took a 2:1 lead. Cincinnati snatched the fourth set 27:25, and in the tie-break imposed its will with 15:11.
Although Cincinnati was decisively outblocked 5 to 16 points, they compensated with exceptional defense, in which Ninova played a key role. The Bulgarian also finished with two aces and seven assists, as recorded in the American statistics.
In offense, the most effective player for Cincinnati was Sydney Nolan with 30 successful attacks - the highest individual achievement in the Big 12 since the start of the season. Andrea Simovski added 24 successful attacks and 22 digs in defense.
Viktoria Ninova's strong performance also received recognition from the Big 12 conference. On October 27, the Bulgarian libero was included in the Starting Seven of the ninth competitive week. Her teammate Sydney Nolan also received the individual award for Offensive Player of the Week.
Ninova finished the week with an average of 5.25 digs per set, helping Cincinnati achieve two consecutive victories - 3:0 over Kansas State and 3:2 against Arizona. Since the start of the season, the Bulgarian has an average of 3.76 digs per set, which ranks her fourth in the conference.
The award is another recognition of Ninova's development, who in 2025 was part of the Bulgarian national team that won the historic U19 World Title.
After the victory over Arizona, Cincinnati has a season record of 10 wins and 8 losses, including 3 wins and 5 defeats in the Big 12 conference.
