According to Jakub Balcerzak from the X platform, everything indicates that next season we will see the Bulgarian national player Asparuhov on the court of the Polish PlusLiga, specifically in the colors of Śląsk Malow Suwałki.

The Bulgarian outside hitter is 25 years old, but he entered top-level European volleyball immediately after reaching adulthood. At 18, he became a player for a club from… PlusLiga. Stocznia Szczecin signed a contract with him, but he was not destined to spend much time there, as the club withdrew from the league during the season. Asparuhov then found himself in the Italian league. He spent three seasons with Verona Volley, and in 2022, he moved to Padova. This was his last season on the Apennine Peninsula. From there, he moved to Russia, where he has been playing for Kuzbass Kemerovo for the second year.
In Śląsk Malow Suwałki, Asparuh Asparuhov is expected to form a reception line with Henrique Honorato and Antony Kwasigroch. The fourth name for this position is still unknown. It appears that the management of Suwałki will have the comfort of using their foreign players next season. A Polish setter and a Polish opposite hitter are anticipated, which allows for two foreign outside hitters and a foreign middle blocker on the court. It seems that these will be Asparuhov, Honorato, and Jouffroy. The Suwałki team is still fighting for a playoff spot this season. This will not be an easy task, as they are five points behind PGE GiEK Skra Bełchatów. However, Śląsk can be confident about remaining in the league, as there is hardly any force that would allow this team to squander a sixteen-point lead over the relegation zone.
At the same time, Russian media are 'writing off' Asparuhov from Kuzbass for next season.

These reports are a bit premature, commented tovolleyweek.bgAsparuhov. For now, I am focused on my performances with Kuzbass. The goal is to play at a top level, to prepare for 2028. I suppose that within a month there will be more clarity about where I will play, the outside hitter concluded.
