The head of Levski's youth academy, Andrea Burattini, is leaving, volleyweek.bg has learned. The Italian will depart for the USA after the end of the season, having received an indecently good offer from there. It is likely one of the three women's leagues in North America.
In the summer of 2023, as head coach of the Bulgarian men's national volleyball team U21, Andrea Burattini won the bronze medals at the Youth World Championship in Bahrain.

He has been the head coach of the "blue" academy for seven years.
After his departure, his role at Levski-Sofia will be taken over by Andrey Zhekov, who returned to the "blue" club at the beginning of September last year.
