Brizard appeared in each of the 15 matches of the French campaign in VNL 2024, scoring 26 points (ten aces, nine spike kills, and seven blocks). The playmaker accumulated 250 successful sets during the tournament, 65 of which were in the finals, making him the second highest-ranked player in this category among the players who played in Łódź.

This was the first time Brizard won the MVP award in an international volleyball tournament. He was chosen as the best setter at the U19 World Championship in 2011 and repeated the award at club level in the 2021-2022 season of the Italian SuperLega, playing for Gas Sales Bluenergy Piacenza.
Brizard was one of three French players selected for the VNL 2024 Dream Team, along with opposite Jean Patry and middle blocker Nicolas Le Goff.
