In the first of Saturday's matches of the 16th round of PlusLiga, BOGDANKA LUK Lublin hosted Aluron CMC Wartę Zawiercie, with no comebacks in the match. The teams won their sets consecutively. As in the first part of the season, the match ended in a tie-break. Although the beginning of the fifth set belonged to the hosts, the opponents turned the tide of the game and avenged their defeat in Zawiercie.
The hosts started well at the beginning of the tie-break. Two attacks gave Leon and company the lead. When Mateusz Malinowski surprised with a short ball, LUK was already leading 3:0. However, the guests managed to equalize with the help of Russell and Butryn. An exchange of points began until once again the two leaders from Zawiercie gave an 8:6 lead to the guests. Gladir added an ace at an important moment. A 4-point difference proved to be secure enough for coach Michal Winiarski's boys to win.
