The Russian Volleyball Federation has imposed fines on four head coaches for violating regulations during the Victory Cup tournament. Among those sanctioned is the Bulgarian specialist Plamen Konstantinov, who coaches the Lokomotiv Novosibirsk team.
The Fines
The organization announced that Konstantinov, along with Vladimir Alekno (Zenit Saint Petersburg), Alexander Klimkin (Dynamo-LO), and Sergey Trotsky (Kuzbass), was fined 50,000 rubles each.

The Reason
The official document does not specify the exact violation, but the sanctions were imposed based on a report from the Deputy Head of the Marketing and Communications Department. According to information from the publication 'BO Sport', the fines are due to the use of obscene language during timeouts, which was caught by cameras and broadcast on television.
Such cases are not unprecedented in the Russian championship, where full conversations between coaches and players during breaks are often broadcast. In the case of the Victory Cup, the Federation has deemed that such behavior violates sports ethics and the image of the competition.
A Humorous Addition
Interestingly, some time ago Plamen Konstantinov was already at the center of a similar scandal, but back then Lokomotiv managed to turn the situation into a marketing hit. After his famous timeout against Fakel, in which he erupted with the words:
"Don't leave me, hey! If you want to play, come back here, b! I'm not your girlfriend, b***, I'm the coach!"**, the Novosibirsk club released a limited edition of T-shirts with his image and quote, which fans snapped up in days.
Now, however, after the fine from the Russian Federation, it is unlikely that anyone in Novosibirsk will dare to print the coach's latest obscene expressions on jerseys.
