Paweł Zatorski, one of the best liberos in PlusLiga and an Olympic silver medalist, will undergo hip surgery this Friday, officially bringing a premature end to his 2024/25 season. Despite his injury, Zatorski briefly appeared in Resovia's match against MKS Będzin.
The absence of the 34-year-old volleyball player is a serious blow to the Resovia team, which is currently in the middle of the league table. Since joining the team in 2021, Zatorski helped win a bronze medal in PlusLiga and a CEV Cup title. His impressive career also includes five Polish championship titles and two World Championship titles with the Polish national team. Now, as Resovia searches for a replacement, Zatorski begins a long road to recovery, leaving a void both in the squad and in the hearts of fans.
