Bulgaria's men's national volleyball team departs tomorrow for Poland, where it will participate in the friendly tournament 'Silesia Cup'. Head coach Gianlorenzo Blengini will rely on a group of 14 players for the competition, which is part of the national team's preparation for the upcoming summer.
Captain Alex Grozdanov, as well as brothers Aleksandar and Simeon Nikolov, will not be in the squad. The three are resting due to the late conclusion of their club commitments this season.
Up to this point, 17 volleyball players participated in Bulgaria's training camp in Samokov.

The extended squad included:

By staff decision, three players will remain out of the squad - Rusi Zhelev, Hristiyan Dimitrov, and Ivaylo Damyanov.
Bulgaria will open the new national season on May 20 with a match against Ukraine as part of a tournament in Poland. The competition will provide the first more serious indications of the team's appearance before the official matches in the summer. The new kits from VB Rags, about which we informed you at the beginning of March, will also be tested for the first time at the tournament.
