Bulgarian international Venislav Antov will wear the Tourcoing jersey in the 2026/2027 season as well. The news was officially announced by the French club via a social media post, which presented part of the team's core preserved for the new campaign.

The announcement makes it clear that, in addition to Antov, four more volleyball players remain in the squad:
Marten Briel
Maxime Comte
Namory Dosso
Andrea Cattarsi-Dous
Tourcoing's management is clearly banking on continuity and stability, retaining key figures from last season.
We recall Antov's statistics in his first season in France – the Bulgarian opposite finished among the leading scorers in Ligue A, recording 551 points in 28 matches (110 sets), which ranked him among the best scorers in the championship. He also added 33 aces from serve, solidifying his role as Tourcoing's main offensive option.
The team had a strong regular season, finishing third in the standings, but failed to consolidate their performance in the playoffs and were eliminated in the quarterfinals after losing to Sète.
Retaining Antov is a key move for Tourcoing. The Bulgarian has established himself as a primary scorer and a player around whom the offense can be built. In combination with retaining four more players from the starting lineup, this creates prerequisites for better synergy and higher goals in the new season.
The other Bulgarian in France, Vladimir Garkov, is leaving Saint-Nazaire.
