The presence of Bulgarian national Alex Nikolov, who was in the company of Mattia Bonifante, obviously brought luck to his new girlfriend Hena Kurtagić, after Numia Vero Volley Milano won the extremely important third match of the final series in the Italian women's championship. Stefano Lavarini's team defeated Prosecco DOC Imoco Conegliano as guests with 3:1 (25:20, 20:25, 30:28, 25:20) and reduced their deficit to 1:2 wins in the series.
The match in the packed "Palaverde" arena seemed like the ideal moment for Conegliano to end the title dispute in front of their home crowd, after already leading 2:0 in wins. Milano, however, showed a completely different face and brought the tension back into the final.
The most effective player for the winners was Paola Egonu with an impressive 34 points, as the captain of Milano surpassed the 1000-point mark for the season. On the other side, Isabelle Haak finished with 27 points for Conegliano.
A strong match for Milano was also played by Serbian middle blocker Hena Kurtagić, who finished with 12 points, a +10 efficiency rating, 5 blocks, and 70% attacking success. She was among the key figures for the big success with which the guests kept their title hopes alive.

Milano was more effective in blocking – 9 points (5 of them by Kurtagić) against 7 points, both teams recorded 3 aces each, and in attack and reception, the differences were minimal. The guests completely controlled the first set, Conegliano responded in the second, but the decisive factor turned out to be the third set, in which Milano held on in a dramatic battle and closed the set at 30:28. In the fourth set, Lavarini's team once again imposed their will and deservedly reached victory.
Thus, the series remains open, and the fourth match is on April 22 in Milano.
