Neftochimic 2010 (Burgas) and Lokomotiv Avia (Plovdiv) convincingly started their participation in the quarter-final playoffs of efbet Super Volley, after recording straight-set victories and taking a 1-0 lead in their respective series.

Neftochimic defeated city rival Deya Sport 3:0 (25:21, 25:19, 25:15) in Mladost Hall. The match was evenly contested only in the first set, but in crucial moments, Ivan Stanev's team imposed a more stable game in serving and blocking. In the next two sets, "the Sheikhs" completely controlled the course of play and gave no chance to their opponent. The top scorers were Kaloyan Balabanov and Adi Osmanovic with 16 points each, while for Deya, Tsvetelin Tsvetanov finished with 13.

In the other quarter-final, Lokomotiv Avia prevailed over Pirin (Razlog) with a 3:0 victory (25:22, 26:24, 25:17). The Plovdiv team showed greater effectiveness in attack and stability in decisive moments, especially in the second set, which they won after overturning a set point for their opponent. In the third set, the runners-up completely dominated. Zhulien Georgiev led the team with 15 points, and Mariyan Nakov was the top scorer in the match for Pirin with 18.

In both series, the second matches are on March 25th, with Neftochimic and Lokomotiv seeking a second win and quick qualification for the semi-finals.
