Levski turned Montana and is one step away from the semifinals

Levski Sofia started their participation in the efbet Super Volley playoffs with a win, after defeating Montana 3:1 (18:25, 25:20, 25:18, 25:22). The success did not come easily, but the champions gradually imposed their rhythm and controlled the match development after the first set.

The "Blues" now have a 1-0 lead in the series and will look to close it out in the second match as visitors.

First Set

The start was entirely in favor of Montana, who dictated the game with aggressive serving and a well-organized block. Levski faced serious difficulties in organizing their attack and failed to stay close in the score.

The visitors maintained a high level in attack and did not falter until the end. Thus, they logically reached a convincing 25:18.

Second Set

Levski's reaction was not delayed, and from the start, a change in intensity and concentration was evident. The hosts began to win more long rallies, which gave them a psychological advantage.

In the crucial phase of the set, Montana made several inaccuracies that proved decisive. Levski took full advantage and equalized after 25:20.

Third Set

The match was now unfolding according to a script convenient for the champions, who dictated the tempo. Even when the score was tied, Levski appeared to be the more stable team in the rallies.

A series of strong actions in blocking and counter-attack opened up a lead that Montana could not overcome. The set concluded at 25:18.

Fourth Set

Levski started confidently in this part as well, securing an early lead and holding it for a long time. Montana showed character and managed to reduce the deficit, bringing intrigue back towards the end.

In the decisive moments, however, the hosts were more precise and did not allow a surprise. With a 25:22 score, they closed the match and sealed the final 3:1 sets.
