Dimitar Dimitrov with 14 points in OK Savings Bank's 3-0 victory

OK Savings Bank achieved a convincing victory in the fifth round of the men's V-League 2025/2026, after defeating Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance Bluefangs 3:0 (25:21, 25:19, 25:21) on the 8th in Gangseo Hall in Busan. This was the second consecutive win for OK Savings Bank, which now has a record of 14 wins and 13 losses, as well as 42 points, surpassing KB Insurance and climbing to fourth place in the standings.

Dimitrov at the core of the offensive power

Both in offense and defense, OK Savings Bank had the upper hand throughout the match. Among the top scorers once again was Bulgarian international Dimitar Dimitrov, who finished with 14 points, including 2 block points, and an attack efficiency of 42.86%.

Also performing well alongside him were:

  • Jeon Gwang-in – 14 points, 61.54% success rate

  • Cha Ji-hwan – 13 points, 66.67% success rate

The team's overall attack efficiency reached an impressive 58.90%, which completely broke the opponent, who remained at around 46%.

Strong serving and blocking dominance

OK Savings Bank recorded 4 aces, but even more importantly – their serves constantly disrupted Samsung's reception. This made the hosts' attack predictable, and the visitors also dominated at the net, scoring 13 block points.

Thus, OK Savings Bank completely controlled the tempo and flow of the match, not allowing Samsung Fire & Marine Insurance to find their attacking rhythm.

A key clash for a spot in the top 3 follows.

On the 11th, OK Savings Bank will host Korea Electric Power Corporation, who are third with 43 points, just one more than Dimitrov's team. The match will be crucial for the battle at the top of the table and for OK Savings Bank's chance to take another step towards the leading positions.
