The son of former Bulgarian national player Radostina Rangelova-Citigoi and former CSKA player from the 2003/04 season Cristian Citigoi, Daniel Citigoi, will play for PGE GIEK Skra Belchatow in the 2025/2026 season, according to blogger Jakub Balcerzak.
The 20-year-old outside hitter, who was born in Varna and debuted for the men's national team of Romania at just 16 years old, is another new addition to the Polish powerhouse. The team, where Radoslav Parapunov is currently playing, will be led by Krzysztof Stelmach. Zuhair El Graoui, Alan Souza, Maksym Kędzierski, and Citigoi's teammate at ZAKSA, Kamil Szymura, are also expected to join the team. Daniel entered the game in the third set of the second quarter-final between ZAKSA and Bogdanka Lublin, but did not score any points. In two seasons in Poland, Citigoi has played 39 matches and scored 232 points (21 aces, 16 blocks).
