Plamen Konstantinov's Lokomotiv (Novosibirsk) will start against Shakhter (Soligorsk) at the beginning of the Russian men's championship for the 2024/25 season.

The All-Russian Volleyball Federation has published the calendar for the Russian men's championship for the 2024/25 season.
The regular season begins on September 4 and ends on March 7.
In the new season, the calendar is drawn by lot. The basis, as before, is taken from the Berger system, but now everything depends not on the rating of the teams in the last championship, but on the number obtained during the draw.

The current Russian champion Zenit-Kazan will play away against Belogorie in the first round, and the capital's MGTU, which has returned to the Super League, will start the season with a match in Surgut.

The club from Novy Urengoy is listed in the federation's calendar as "Fakel-Yamal". At the same time, Fakel has not announced any renaming.

The draws for the 2024 Russian Men's and Women's Super Cup will take place before the start of the Russian Championship.
