Nikola Grbić's squad prevailed over Argentina with a 3:1 (48:50, 26:24, 25:19, 25:20) win in a match that will go down in history with a record-breaking first set.
The very start of the match offered something unprecedented. After an incredible battle, Argentina won the opening set 50:48 after 59 minutes of play. This is the longest set in the history of the Nations League, as well as in all official tournaments under the auspices of FIVB. The two teams repeatedly exchanged the lead, and the score went through 30:30, 36:36, and numerous other ties before Martin Ramos ended the drama.

After the missed opportunity, the hosts did not break. The second set was again extremely even, but in the decisive rallies, León took the initiative. His successful attack brought set point, and his strong serve helped Poland equalize the score after 26:24.
