Lokomotiv Avia defeated weak Dunav with minimal effort

Lokomotiv Avia recorded their sixth win in the championship, easily defeating Dunav Ruse at home with a 3:0 (25:22, 25:15, 25:13) victory.
Naiden Naidenov's boys only faced difficulties in the first game, when the visitors managed to take the lead several times, even reaching 22:21, after which Lokomotiv managed to turn the tide with a successful attack by Horvath and three consecutive blocks for 25:22.
In the second set, the Ruse team tried to keep the fire going at the beginning, after which the hosts made several three-point runs and one five-point run at the end of the game for 23:10, thus taking a 2:0 lead in the score.
In the last game, the visitors raised the "white" flag and only managed to score 13 points. Dunav played without our main opposite, Alex Nikolov.

Ivaylo Damyanov was named MVP of the match, scoring 7 points (4 blocks).

Thus, the team from Plovdiv is sixth in the standings before tomorrow's "eternal derby", as CSKA is immediately behind them.
For the Ruse team, the next round is very important, as they will host Cherno More. Plamen Hristov's boys must get points from this match if they want to keep their chances of staying in the elite.
