The Canadian women's national team achieved a valuable 3:1 (20:25, 25:19, 25:17, 25:20) victory over the Netherlands in a match from the second week of the Volleyball Nations League, played in Bangkok (Thailand).
The match started better for the Dutch women, who won the first set 25:20. After that, however, the Canadians took control of the game and achieved a complete comeback with 25:19, 25:17, and 25:20 in the next three sets.
The standout player on the court was Van Ryk, who scored 26 points and deservedly finished as the top scorer of the match. From the new season, she will play for Italian club Scandicci, where she will replace Ekaterina Antropova, who has left.
