The participant in the Polish PlusLigaCuprum Stilon Gorzówwill strengthen its ranks for the next season. Besides several extended contracts, the name of a potential new coach has appeared on the radar. According to Jakub Balcerzak on the X platform, it is Hubert Henno, one of France's best liberos. Last season, Henno led the team from Nantes.

Cuprum Stilon Gorzówfollows the example of other teams, assembling its squad for the next season.
The changes also affect the head coach position, as the current one - Andrzej Kowal, will take on new challenges.
In his place, Frenchman Hubert Henno is expected to take over. He is a former volleyball player, a long-time national team member of his country, who in the past has played for clubs such as: Dinamo Moscow, M. Roma Volley, Bre Banca Lannutti Cuneo (where he became champion with Vlado Nikolov in 2010 on the so-called V-day in Bologna, defeating Trento with Matey Kaziyski and Tsvetan Sokolov in the final (editor's note)), Cucine Lube Banca Marche Macerata and Tours VB. During his career, the libero boasts numerous successes. In addition to titles won in France, Russia, and Italy, he triumphed in the CEV Cup and Champions League tournaments.Henno won the most prestigious European club trophy together with Vlado Nikolov in the 2004/5 season, defeating the team of Iraklis Thessaloniki with Clayton Stanley in their squad in the final. To this are added achievements with the national team – bronze from the World Championship (2002), two European vice-champion titles (2003, 2009), and silver from the World League (2006).
Fate brought Henno and Nikolov together at the final of the European U17 Championship in Sofia in 2019, where their sons - Hilir Henno and Alex Nikolov - faced each other in the final. France won then. Last year, at the final of the European Championship in Vrnjačka Banja, the younger sons of Henno and Nikolov - Mathis and Simeon - faced each other. France won again.
Hubert Henno ended his rich career in 2019, immediately moving to the coaching bench. First, from 2019-2021, he led Tours VB, which was his last club as a player. He then moved to Nantes Rezé MV (2021-2024). The first trophy in the Frenchman's coaching career was the French Cup, won in March last year. One of the players who contributed to this success was Chizoba Neves Atu, who moved toCuprum Stilon Gorzówthis season and will stay there for another year.
