Polish selector Piotr Graban announced a group of 17 players for the upcoming European Championship in Portugal, among whom are several volleyball players who have already been given a chance in Nikola Grbic's men's national team. This is precisely what makes the "Polish Team" squad exceptionally strong.

The Bulgarian U22 national team, led by Daniel Peev, will play two friendly matches against Poland on June 10 and 11. The matches are part of both teams' preparation for the U22 European Championship, which begins on June 29.
Four players with men's national team experience
From the current Poland U22 squad, four volleyball players participated in the Silesia Cup tournament with the Polish men's national team:
Błażej Bien (setter)
Jakub Kiedos (outside hitter)
Jakub Majchrzak (middle blocker)
Michał Grabek (outside hitter)
Jakub Kiedos
The 207-cm outside hitter Jakub Kiedos made a memorable appearance in Nikola Grbic's squad.
He also took part in all three Silesia Cup matches:
against Serbia – 10 points
against Ukraine – no points
against Bulgaria – 7 points
Majchrzak shone against Serbia
Middle blocker Jakub Majchrzak also left an excellent impression.
His participation in the Silesia Cup:
against Serbia – 14 points
against Ukraine – no points
against Bulgaria – 5 points
It was against the Serbs that Majchrzak was among Poland's most effective players and showed why he is considered one of the most promising centers in the 2004-2005 age group.
Grabek also got a chance.
Outside hitter Michał Grabek appeared in the match against Serbia and scored 8 points.
He is among the players Grbić called up to the expanded squad of the men's national team this summer, and was subsequently returned to the U22 team for preparations for the European Championship.
Bień was part of the rotation.
Setter Błażej Bień also participated in the Silesia Cup. He entered the match against Bulgaria and is one of the players Grbić is closely monitoring as part of the future of the Polish national team.
