The last two participants in the quarterfinals of EuroVolley Women 2026 will be determined today, September 1st.
Both remaining Round of 16 matches will be played in the Sinan Erdem Dome in Istanbul. At 4:00 PM Bulgarian time, Belgium faces Germany, and at 7:00 PM, Turkey plays against Azerbaijan.
Six teams have already secured their place among the top eight – Italy, Serbia, Greece, Sweden, Poland, and the Netherlands. Poland and the Netherlands advanced yesterday after victories over Portugal with 3:0 and Slovenia with 3:2, respectively.
In Brno, the quarterfinal pairs are Serbia – Greece and Italy – Sweden. In Istanbul, Poland will meet the Netherlands, and the other pair will be formed by the winners of today's two Round of 16 matches.
