Aleksandar Nikolov has surpassed the 600-point mark since the beginning of the championship

Aleksandar Nikolov continues to solidify his status as the No. 1 scorer in the Italian SuperLega. The Bulgarian national player for Cucine Lube Civitanova has already surpassed the mark of600 pointssince the start of the season and convincingly leads the ranking. This happened after today's first final match for the title against Perugia, in which the Bulgarian finished with 10 points.
The outside hitter has 603 points in 29 matches (109 sets) and an average of 5.53 points per set, maintaining a significant lead over his pursuers.

Statistics clearly show Nikolov's advantage – not only in total points but also in efficiency. The difference of over 100 points compared to the second-ranked player is indicative of his consistency throughout the entire season.
However, in the context of the campaign's end, it is even more important that only he and Wassim Ben Tara continue their participation in the final series for the title. This means that the real competition in the concluding phase of the season will be between them, but it is unlikely that the Tunisian will be able to displace the Bulgarian international, who became the top scorer at the 2025 World Championship.

The remaining players in the top 10 are no longer competing for the title, with the exception of the Modena players, who are playing for 5th place. However, they are at a significant distance from the top and cannot influence the Bulgarian's leading position.
