Very strong Marti Atanasov but LavAni dethroned Bhayangkara Presisi and won Proliga 2026

Jakarta LavAni Livin Transmedia won the Proliga 2026 men's title after defeating Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi 3:1 (25:22, 25:20, 18:25, 25:22) in the final, played at GOR Amongrogo hall in Jakarta.
With this success, LavAni finished the season undefeated – from the regular phase, through the Final Four, to the final series, where they recorded two victories (2-0) against the then-reigning champion. Thus, the team dethroned Bhayangkara Presisi and ascended to the top of Indonesian volleyball.
For Bhayangkara Presisi, the defeat is a serious blow, as they entered as the reigning champions. Nevertheless, the team showed character, and Martin Atanasov was among the most prominent figures on the court with his strong performance in attack.
LavAni set the pace from the very first game, maintaining the initiative through Boy Arnez and Taylor Sander. Although Bhayangkara Presisi found attacking solutions, Ghozer and company took the first set with a score of 25:22.
In the second game, the scenario repeated – LavAni controlled the rallies and, with better attacking efficiency, closed it at 25:20.
The third game brought a change in rhythm. Bhayangkara Presisi stabilized their reception and improved their blocking game, with Martin Atanasov and Bardia Saadat leading the team in attack. This led to a decisive 18:25, bringing them back into the match.
The fourth game became the most dramatic. Atanasov continued his strong performance and kept Bhayangkara in the fight until the very end. However, with the score at 19:20 for LavAni, two crucial moments occurred – attacking errors by Bardia Saadat and Atanasov, which practically decided the outcome of the match. LavAni capitalized fully and closed the match with a score of 25:22.

The numbers clearly show LavAni's superiority in the most crucial elements – attack, block, and serve. The +5 point difference in attack and better efficiency in key moments tipped the scales. Bhayangkara Presisi compensated with more points from opponent errors, but the lack of stability in decisive rallies, especially at the end of the fourth game, proved crucial.
