Daria Ivanova became champion of Hungary with Vasas after a dramatic final

Bulgarian volleyball player Daria Ivanova triumphed with the title in the Hungarian Extraliga after her team Vasas (Budapest) defeated Kaposvari NRK 3:2 (25:21, 22:25, 25:23, 20:25, 15:11) in the decisive third match of the final series, closing the clash with a 3:0 sweep.
The decisive match lived up to expectations for a spectacle. Both teams offered extremely competitive volleyball, with long rallies and a serious battle in every phase.
Vasas started more confidently and took the first set, but the guests from Kaposvar responded and equalized. In the third set, the hosts again took the lead after a tough battle, but the fourth went to the guests, who forced the match into a tie-break.
In the decisive fifth set, Kaposvar even took the lead, but at crucial moments made errors in serving and attacking, which allowed Vasas to make a comeback and close the match after 135 minutes of play.
Daria Ivanova contributed to the title for the Budapest team, which solidified its dominance in Hungarian volleyball. For the Bulgarian player, this is a significant achievement at club level and another step forward in her development.
