Levski Sofia youth player Kristian Titriyski played an exceptionally strong game in the US collegiate championship, leaving a significant mark with both his individual performance and his team's success.
The 20-year-old opposite hitter was instrumental in Hawaii's 3-1 (25:23, 25:18, 19:25, 25:22) victory against Santa Barbara in their home arena, Bankoh Arena. The success also had symbolic significance
– it marked the 400th win for Titriyski's team in that facility.
The Bulgarian stood out as the top scorer on the court, tallying 22 points
– 18 from attack and 4 from blocks. To this, he added 12 digs in defense, recording his first career double-double.
So far, Hawaii has demonstrated stability this season with a record of 20 wins and only 3 losses.
At the same time, another Bulgarian talent
– Aleksandar Kandez
– also delivered a solid performance. He finished with 8 points (1 block) in Long Beach's dramatic 3-2 (25:20, 20:25, 21:25, 25:18, 15:11) away victory against CSUN (California State University
