The dates and start times for the men's Italian SuperLega semi-final playoffs have been announced, with the schedule for the first three matches already officially confirmed by the League. The only remaining task is to determine the last semi-finalist, who will be decided after the decisive fifth match between Modena and Piacenza on March 29.
The first semi-final clash will pit Rana Verona against Cucine Lube Civitanova, who eliminated Milano and Trento respectively. The two teams will open the series on April 5 at 18:00 (19:00 Bulgarian time).
A day later, on April 6, champions Perugia will play their first semi-final match against the winner of the Modena " Piacenza pair, with the match starting at 17:30 (18:30 Bulgarian time). The schedule continues with the second matches: on April 8, Civitanova hosts Verona at 20:30 (21:30 Bulgarian time), and on April 9, Perugia visits the last semi-finalist, with that match also starting at 20:30 (21:30 Bulgarian time).
The third matches of the series will take place on April 11 and 12. Verona will host Civitanova on April 11 at 18:00 (19:00 Bulgarian time), while on April 12, Perugia will host its opponent at 18:00 (19:00 Bulgarian time). The semi-final series will be played in the familiar format, with teams battling for a spot in the final of one of the strongest volleyball leagues in the world.
