Turquoise recorded 17th win, Veni Antov with 17 points

Turcoing continues its impressive streak in the French championship. The team decisively defeated Nice 3:0 (25:23, 25:19, 25:23) and recorded its 17th victory for the season.

The success solidified Turcoing's place in the top three, with the team now firmly established in third position with 48 points, immediately behind leaders Tours and Montpellier.

The hosts started strong and took the first set 25:23, but the real difference became apparent in the second, when Turcoing dominated in all elements and closed the set 25:19.

The third set was the most contested, but in key moments, Nice's errors proved decisive. After a service error out, Turcoing got their first match point, followed by another service miss for 24:22, and the last point again came after a service error from the visitors.

The statistics clearly show Tourcoing's superiority in serving – 8 aces against only 2 for Nice, as well as better organization in reception (58% positive). Although Nice received more points from opponent errors (24), it was their own inaccuracies at the end of the third set that proved fatal and decided the match.

Tourcoing appears increasingly stable in the battle for the top positions, and Veni Antov continues to be a key figure in the squad during the crucial phase of the season.
The Bulgarian international occupies a prestigious second place in the scoring rankings of the French championship, with an index of 0.48955 after 21 played matches and 83 sets. The Bulgarian is only minimally behind leader Nik Mujanović, which underlines his consistency and high effectiveness throughout the season.
