VC Neftochimic 2010 crushed Pirin (Razlog) 3-0 in Burgas

VC Neftochimik 2010 recorded a decisive victory over Pirin (Razlog) with 3:0 (25:16, 25:21, 25:20) in Burgas in a match from the 14th round of the championship. The match was also a kind of repetition of the Bulgarian Cup final, which also ended in triumph for the "sheikhs", and the trophy was displayed in the "Boycho Bryanzov" hall during the match.

Neftochimik dictated the tempo almost throughout the entire match, as early on, Osmanovic turned the trend with three aces, which gave the hosts the necessary psychological boost to break the guests' resistance. After this victory, the Burgas team is fourth, and Pirin dropped to eighth position.

Blocks 10 0
Attack Efficiency 61% 43%
Aces 7 2
Total Points 75 57

The numbers clearly show why Neftochimic didn't need a "fifth gear" to close out the match. 10 blocks against 0 was a huge difference and directly "shut down" Pirin's attack. The hosts were better in attack (61% against 43%), as well as on serve – 7 aces, which often came at crucial moments. The only element in which Pirin had an advantage was points from opponent errors (22 against 13) – but this alone was not enough when the other main components were entirely in Neftochimic's favor.

The first set was the clearest signal of Neftochimic's dominance – 25:16, and Osmanovic's serving run put the visitors under constant pressure. In the second, Pirin tried to stay longer in the rallies, but Neftochimic remained stable – 25:21. The third set solidified the trend – 25:20, with the hosts not allowing a dramatic finish and completing the task with control and class.
