Axel Trukhchev changes Greece with Poland

Axel Truhchev, well known to the Bulgarian public for his two seasons in our championship with the team of Neftochimic 2010 (Burgas), ended his stay in Greek Foinikas Syros in the most impressive way possible. This was reported byvolleynews.gr.The outside hitter played his last match for the islanders against the giant Panathinaikos, dramatically won 3:2 (25:23, 22:25, 25:21, 21:25, 15:12), with Truhchev himself being chosen as the MVP of the game.

His strong performance in this match was a kind of culmination of his period in Foinikas, where he established himself as a key figure in attack and reception. The success against Panathinaikos brought valuable points to the team and was the first major victory under the guidance of the new head coach.

Axel Truhchev's career continues in Poland, where he will defend the colors of Stal Nysa, competing in the A2 league. Mukhliyas already plays for the same club, making the Bulgarian presence even more noticeable. Truhchev himself emphasized that his decision was not dictated by problems in Greece but by his desire for a new challenge.

With this transfer, Axel Truhchev takes a logical next step in his development, and Greek Foinikas Syros closes a successful chapter with a player who left "through the big door."
