Elitsa Atanasievich and Panionios won the Bulgarian derby against Celine Salim

Panionios, with Elitsa Atanasievich, recorded a second consecutive victory in the Greek Women's Championship. On October 24, the team won their away match against Apollonios, featuring Selin Salim, with a score of 3:0 (25:13, 25:18, 25:18) in 75 minutes.
Salim is a native of Shumen and played for Kazanlak Volley between 2018 and 2022, before continuing her career in France and the Czech Republic. The former Bulgarian youth national team player joined Apollonios in the summer.
Atanasievich started as a starter and finished with one point from a block, receiving only one ball in attack. In reception, the Bulgarian recorded 50% positive and perfect reception.
For the hosts, Salim was also in the starting lineup and scored two points from ten attacks — a 20% success rate. The receiver finished with 46% positive and 31% perfect reception.
Apollonios challenged the visitors at the beginning of the second game, turning the score from 2:7 to 11:10. Panionios, however, responded with seven consecutive points and did not relinquish the initiative again. Milica Kubura was the top scorer for the winners with 18 points, and Helena Grözer added 11.
Coach Yunus Yoccal used all available players, and the next challenge is a home game against Olympiacos.
