Milan will officially host the Final Four tournament of the men's Volleyball Champions League for three consecutive seasons 2026, 2027, and 2028. The news was confirmed both at an institutional level by the European Volleyball Confederation (CEV) and by the leadership of the Italian Volleyball Federation (FIPAV).
The decision comes as the fulfillment of a promise made by the new CEV President, Rocco Sikiric, who, upon taking office, stated that he would bring long-term clarity regarding the organization of Europe's most prestigious club tournament. Thus, by the end of the 2025 calendar year, the host of the finals became clear all the way up to the Olympic Games in Los Angeles.
Further confirmation also came from Italy. During the traditional annual concluding press conference, FIPAV President Giuseppe Manfredi officially announced that Milan would host the men's Champions League finals for the three consecutive seasons. This was reported by the authoritative volleyball.it.
With this move, CEV is betting on stability, predictability, and a strong volleyball market. Milan possesses the necessary infrastructure, experience in organizing major sports events, and a strong volleyball tradition, making the choice logical from both a sporting and a marketing perspective.
The decision will certainly be met with approval by clubs and fans, as it is the first time the host of the finals has been fixed for such a long period in advance a clear sign of a new approach in the management of European club volleyball.
