Todor Skrimov, the new acquisition of volleyball club "Levski Sofia", spoke to the media. The former national player returned from Russia and signed a three-year contract with the "Blues".
"Everything is wonderful. It's always a pleasure to work with young people. The mood is excellent, preparations are going well. Everything is great. Given the group we're in in the Champions League, we have a chance. I'm not familiar with our opponents in detail, but there's a chance. If we work well and avoid injuries, it's possible in my opinion. The goal for me personally is to defend the title. It can't be anything less than that. Whether we achieve it depends mostly on us, and to some extent on our opponents. If they show they're better than us, they'll win.
In recent years, I was also among the most experienced players in the national team. This gives me pleasure, and I'm happy to be in such a team and have such an opportunity. I hope to help the young players. This club works correctly. I believe this is the right choice. Children are the future not only of Levski but also of the national team. This is extremely important.
Levski is far ahead of most teams abroad in terms of conditions and infrastructure. I haven't seen anything like it. I haven't played for the best teams abroad, but I have seen their facilities. I can't recall seeing anything similar and a club that has everything Levski possesses. I can't wait and am very excited to play. I haven't played in front of a Bulgarian audience for a long time, and I want these two months to pass faster and for the matches to come. I hope the hall will be full, and we'll feel the audience's support," Skrimov wished.
