The Turkish National Olympic Committee (TMOK) and TikTok are launching a long-term partnership until the Los Angeles 2028 Olympics. The goal is to make Olympic sports more visible in the digital world through creative content and live broadcasts, especially among young people.
As a first step, on August 24, TikTok will livestream the 37th Intercontinental Bosphorus Cross-Continental Swimming Race.
TMOK Chairman Ahmet Gülüm emphasized that the initiative will promote Olympic values and give a voice to inspiring stories such as that of the women's national curling team from Erzurum.
TikTok announced that the platform will not only distribute content but also support athletes in building careers through visibility and sponsorship opportunities.
The partnership aims to connect sports with younger generations, stimulate sports tourism, and make inspiring stories of athletes accessible to a global audience.
