The Bulgarian volleyball season 2025/2026 will start with a powerful charge: the Bulgarian Supercup will be played in a two-day tournament on October 18 and 19 in 'Levski Sofia' Hall in the capital. The organizers are banking on a more attractive format with the participation of four of the strongest men's teams in the country, who will face each other in an elimination scheme, guaranteeing high tension from the first whistle.

Participants and semi-final pairs
The following teams will take part in the tournament:
Levski Sofia- current champion and Supercup winner from the last two years (2023, 2024);
Beroe- a stable team with ambitions to break into the elite;
Neftochimic Burgas- a traditional favorite with a rich collection of trophies;
Lokomotiv Avia- a team on the rise with a dangerous selection.
The semi-final pairs will be:
Beroe – Levski
Neftochimic – Lokomotiv
This means that as early as October 18, the public will witness a clash between Stara Zagora's fighting spirit and the capital's school, as well as a derby with a southern charge between the Burgas team and the flying 'railwaymen'.
Levski in search of a golden hat-trick
Levski's team enters as a favorite - the 'blues' will try to grab their third consecutive Supercup, which would establish them as a dominant force in recent seasons. The squad of head coach Plamen Konstantinov (if he retains his position for the new season) continues to gain experience around a core of national players and young talents.
Beroe, for its part, is no longer an underdog. Serious investments in selection and stable organization are turning the Stara Zagora team into a real threat to any grand.
In the other semi-final, Neftochimic will try to restore its reputation after inconsistent performances, while Lokomotiv Avia, which impressed with its upward form last season, will seek a final as a logical continuation of its progress.
Program and expectations
The exact start times of the matches and the program for the two competition days have not yet been announced, but the matches are expected to be conveniently distributed for television broadcast and fan attendance.
High-quality volleyball, tension, and unpredictability are expected, with each of the four teams having their arguments to aim for the trophy.
This year's Supercup will not just be a demonstration match between the champion and the cup winner - it will be amini championship, in which sports honor, new ambitions, and old rivalries will clash. And for the fans - it's theperfect way to return to the hall and get into the rhythm of the season.
