Mira Todorova continues her stable performances in the Japanese SV League. Her team, Victorina Himeji, achieved a second consecutive victory over Denso Airybees, winning 3:1 (25:22, 25:19, 19:25, 25:23) in Sunday's championship match.
Todorova again played in all four sets and finished with 11 points, of which 7 were from attack, 3 from blocks, and 1 directly from a serve. The Bulgarian middle blocker converted 7 out of 18 attacks, which means a 38.89% success rate. She made only one error in attack, and from 15 serves, she recorded one ace and one error.
A day earlier, Victorina also defeated Denso 3:1 (29:27, 21:25, 25:18, 25:20), with the Bulgarian distinguishing herself with 15 points – 9 from attack, 5 successful blocks, and 1 ace.
Thus, within two days, Mira Todorova accumulated 26 points, including 8 successful blocks and 2 aces. Her contribution at the net is particularly impressive, where she recorded an average of one successful block per set in the eight sets played.
Although she scored four points less and registered a lower attack efficiency in the second match, the Bulgarian once again made a significant contribution to her team's success.
The two consecutive victories allowed Victorina to finish the weekend with a full score against Denso, and Todorova once again showed that blocking remains one of the strongest weapons in her game.
