Bulgarian international Damyan Kolev and his team Ludwigsburg achieved a second consecutive clean victory in the German Bundesliga. Patrick Steuerwald's team won their away match against Herrsching (WWK Munich) with a 3:0 (25:20, 25:18, 25:16) score in a second-round encounter.
Kolev started as the main libero in all three sets. The Bulgarian received seven serves, finishing with 29% positive and 29% excellent reception, without making a direct error.

Ludwigsburg had a significant advantage in blocks – 9:4, and in attack achieved 56% success rate against 43% for the hosts. The visitors also scored four aces against only one for the opponent.
The most effective player for the winners was Marius Büchi with 15 points, followed by Ben-Simon Bonin and Tim Köpfli with 10 each.
The success comes just three days after Ludwigsburg's winning start to the new season. On October 25, Kolev's team prevailed at home over Rottenburg with a 3:0 (25:16, 25:22, 25:16) score in front of 814 spectators in the packed "Innenstadthalle". Then, Tim Köpfli, who finished with 11 points, was chosen as the Most Valuable Player (MVP).
Thus, after their first two matches, Ludwigsburg has a full six points and a set difference of 6:0.
The next challenge is on October 30, when Ludwigsburg hosts Karlsruhe. The match will be the team's first of the season in their new home arena, the "Rundsporthalle".
