Slovenia defeated Canada before the match with Bulgaria

Slovenia defeated Canada 3:1 (25:23, 23:25, 25:20, 25:23) in a match from the second week of the Volleyball Nations League, played in Ljubljana. The success elevated the Slovenians to 4th place in the VNL temporary standings, while Canada dropped to 14th position.
