Neftochimic 2010 attracted a Serbian champion

The reigning Bulgarian Cup holder Neftochimic 2010 (Burgas) continues its active selection for the 2026/2027 season. Serbian outside hitter Stefan Skakich has joined the Burgas team.
The 196-cm tall volleyball player arrives with rich experience from the Serbian and Czech championships. Born on October 19, 1999, the athlete was a Serbian champion with Crvena zvezda in 2024, and in his career, he has also defended the colors of the other Belgrade grand, Partizan.
Besides the two most successful Serbian clubs, Skakich has also played for Ribnica (Kraljevo) and Metalac (Takovo), as well as for Czech team Lvi Prague. It was with the team from the Czech capital that he recorded some of his strongest international achievements – Czech runner-up in 2022 and semi-finalist in the European 'Challenge Cup' tournament in 2021.
The signing of Skakich is another step in building Neftochimic's squad for the new season, in which the Burgas team will pursue new accolades both on the national stage and in European club tournaments.
National team player Dimitar Vasilev remains in the team as an outside hitter, while after the end of last season, captain Kaloyan Balabanov, Brazilian Ricardo Junior, and Viktor Tomov left the club.
Remaining in the squad of the Bulgarian Cup holders and national runners-up are opposite hitter Stoyan Dimitrov, libero Yasen Petrov, and middle blockers Martin Krastev and Stefan Chavdarov.
So far, Neftochimic has already signed setters Vladimir Stankov and Konstantin Nechev, middle blocker Dimitar Chavdarov, libero Konstantin Chipev, and all-rounder Tsvetelin Tsvetanov, who can be used both as an opposite hitter and an outside hitter.
With the arrival of Stefan Skakich, the Burgas club's selection continues to take on an increasingly complete look, and the ambitions for a successful performance in the 2026/2027 season remain more than serious.
