Brazil. The Brazilian men's national team achieved a second victory in front of their home crowd in the Volleyball Nations League. In a match from the first week of the tournament in Brazil, "Seleção" defeated Belgium 3:1 (25:19, 23:25, 25:15, 25:20) in the capital, Brasília.
The hosts started stronger and won the first set 25:19. However, the Belgians responded in the second set and, after a contested battle, equalized with a 25:23 win. The Brazilians quickly regained control of the match and dominated the next two sets, taking them 25:15 and 25:20 respectively, to secure the final victory.
The victory earned Brazil 2.17 points for the world ranking, while Belgium lost the same amount.

Brazil had an advantage in almost all key elements of the game. Particularly impressive was the difference in points scored from opponent's errors – 33 against 21. Although Belgium performed better in reception, the hosts compensated with a more effective attack, more blocks, and more stable play in crucial moments.
Opposite Darlan Souza was the top scorer in the match with 19 points and once again led Brazil's attack. Ricardo Lucarelli added another 16 points for the hosts' success. For Belgium, Reggers was the most effective with 17 points, and Perrin finished with 13.
With this success, Brazil continues its excellent start to the home tournament and consolidates its position among the leading teams in the Volleyball Nations League.
