The Bulgarian men's volleyball champion "Levski" Sofia will start the tournament directly from the group stage, with their opponents becoming clear after the draw on July 16. The "Blues'" qualification for the groups is thanks to our high national coefficient, which was accumulated in recent seasons by "Hebar" Pazardzhik.
Traditionally, 20 teams will participate in the Champions League, divided into 5 groups of 4. The 6 matches in each group are played on a home-and-away basis. The group winners qualify directly for the ¼-finals. The runners-up, as well as the best third-placed team across the groups, will form playoffs, and three teams from these playoffs will make up the Champions League's Top 8.
The Final Four of the tournament returns to its traditional format – with semi-finals and a final, unlike recent seasons' Super Final.
The remaining third-placed teams from the groups will continue their participation after the Champions League group stage in the knockout rounds of the second-strongest European club tournament – the CEV Cup.
