A national player is leaving her club in Italy, Macerata is monitoring the situation

Bulgarian international Mikaela Stoyanova will leave her Italian club after the end of the season. The volleyball player is parting ways with her current team, as during the past campaign she received limited opportunities to play and for most of the time was in the role of a reserve. Stoyanova played 29 matches and scored 22 points.

The club officially confirmed the parting with an emotional message to the Bulgarian player:

„Grazie di cuore Mikaela 💚
Our paths are parting.
It was a pleasure to share this journey together and experience so many moments with our colors.
Good luck with everything that comes next! 🏐🐯 “

In translation:

„Thank you from the bottom of my heart, Mikaela 💚
Our paths are parting.
It was a pleasure to share this journey together and experience so many moments with our colors.
Good luck with everything that comes next!

Stoyanova also experienced good moments with the team, which won the Challenge Cup.

The main reason for the separation is Stoyanova's desire to play more and accumulate more playing minutes next season. That is why the international player will be looking for a new club where she can have a more significant role in the squad.

According to unconfirmed information, Italian club Macerata is showing interest in the Bulgarian player and is monitoring the situation around the outside hitter. There are no official talks or signed contracts yet, but the club is among the options for the international player's future.

Currently, Mikaela Stoyanova is in a training camp with the Bulgarian women's national team, which is preparing for the upcoming matches of the Nations League (VNL). The national team players continue their preparation under the guidance of the coaching staff with ambitions for a strong performance in the tournament.
